Description

The NATtrol Clostridium difficile Positive Control (NATCDI6L) is formulated with intact and purified bacterial cells that have been chemically modified to make them non-infectious and stable in the refrigerator. Each control pack contains 6 x 0.25 ml vials of NATtrolTM C. difficile. These controls are supplied in a purified protein matrix that mimics the composition of a real clinical sample.

The NATtrol Clostridium difficile Positive Control is a complete process control designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for the presence of C. difficile DNA. NATCDI-6L can also be used for clinical trial quality control and laboratory personnel training. NATCDI-6L contains intact organisms and should be analyzed in an identical manner to that used for clinical specimens.
